Ft Hood

Hi All...Well, I'm finally ready to post some pictures I took on the three day work event that the HIP group did to take portraits of families at Ft Hood Texas in conjunction with the USO.  It was a working event...from mid day Friday to mid afternoon Sunday.  Long hours, good, hardworking people that I went with.  Good families to take portraits of.   From small  to big families; dogs, mothers bringing their kids for a portrait to send to their love one serving overseas.  It was very rewarding  There was one BIG drawback...I didn't take very many pictures...at least pictures that I can show.  No releases for me to be able to post. Anyway, I was one of the posers.   But...on the trip up, I was able to do some screeching halt, go around to get a couple of pictures opportunities.
What a wonderful looking house.  Is that a goat
on the upper balcony?  We had to go back to see!

The Goat!  Between the house and the goat,
I figured the people who live here are Interesting!
Who wouldn't pull over to photograph this
stately old home in Cameron

The driver drives, the co-pilot spots the photo ops!
Thank you Saundra.
Oh, Wait!  I do get to show you a "portrait" I took.
The photographer I was working with went to church on
Sunday morning.  The powers-that-be wanted to see
if my Sony camera was compatible with the processing
computers.  This was a test shot!  Not my best work.
Thank goodness George showed up!
