Good morning. I took some time off from blogging because I need to catch up on work after my trip the beginning of September, because I put together a portfolio for a review the end of October, and then attended a Miksang Level 2 two day seminar over last weekend. Work always comes first, but now that the weather is so nice, there are a lot of things going on.
In this series of photos, they are from my Miksang class and the subject is reflections. No editing, just "what you see is what you get....but you have to see!"

I like this picture because the first reflection in the window
(it is black) is of the actual bike rack in the foreground. The
second reflect (silver) is the bike rack that is behind me in the
sunlight. Very fun to photograph.

This was incredible to just look at. I was standing in the sun with
the carport covers and power lines behind me. The office space was
empty, with the sunlight shining through the southern exposure of the
building. Then you can see all through the interior space to the windows
and buildings on the other side of the space. Angles, light, reflection! |
|
This was all reflection of a house with very clean windows.
You can see a little bit of the window frame (white) on the right
side and bottom of the picture. |
|
This doesn't look real. To me, when I first saw it, I thought it
was a curtain. But turning around I saw the building this window
was reflecting the image from. As you can see, there is the
house and window frame in all it's glory.
During the class, we were assigned different subjects to photograph, including a homework assignment. Over the next couple of days I will post some of my class photos, and then get back to the Utah trip. |
