Two more statues were drive by shootings. Both quite different from what we expect when we think of Greek statues. Both were in Athens. I expect you are going to get completely tired of the statues before the trip record is over. So, in this post, I also include a photo of my First Meal in Athens. After dropping our luggage at the hotel, we had a leisurely walk around the Plaka and I ended up at the restaurant "Smile" for a mid-afternoon lunch. Bread, Greek Salad, huge Gyro, Wine, and Orange cake....9 euro! And the friendliest staff and wonderful atmosphere. I was in heaven!
