First Hours in Athens

May 15, 2016.  After checking into our hotel, as a group and then on my own, there was exploration to be done.  The statue of Lord Byron was a highlight of the group walk, as was the old Mercedes that happened to be driving by.  Then the Greek church, Ekkisia Agios Panteleimonas, was right across the street from our hotel.  After asking permission to photograph inside, I was in awe of the beauty and details of the interior.
